Politicians should be held accountable for school shootings

Right now, throughout the U.S., communists (who call themselves liberals) are attempting to pass laws that would hold firearm manufacturers accountable for crimes committed with those firearms. This concept is as ridiculous as the idea that we should hold Ford accountable every time a drunk driver kills someone in a Ford.

But, for a moment, let's assume that this isn't a ridiculous idea. In other words, let's put ourselves in the mind of a crazy anti-gun liberal! I know, it's scary being in such an illogical and asinine place, but just humor me for a moment.

Following their logic, where some unrelated third party is responsible for every crime committed with a gun, every time there's a shooting at any "gun-free zone" such as a school, and the adults there cannot have firearms to protect themselves and the children under their care, the politicians who have passed these "gun-free zone" laws, as well as those that support such laws, should be held accountable.

Yeah, those power-hungry clowns in state houses around the country who have designated zones where one cannot protect oneself? When a crime happens there, they should be held accountable.

Except now that I think of it, that's not such a ridiculous idea. I mean, if I'm disarmed due to a law a politician has passed, and then I get attacked and killed by a crazy person, I think there's much more to be said for holding the politicians who passed that law accountable than there is for holding the firearms manufacturers accountable.

In fact, let's think this through a bit more. If the law was passed but nobody enforced it, it would be toothless. The cops manning the security checkpoints and disarming good people, they should be held accountable too. They're at least as guilty as the politicians. All a politician can do is write some gibberish on a piece of paper. It's the men and women willing to go out there and shoot you like a dog that make this gibberish into law.

Think about this next time you see a school shooting talked about on the news. Think about who disarmed all the good people and left them defenseless against a maniac with a gun.
