Corporate media lies about gun confiscation

I was reading Matt Taibbi’s excellent article Media, Biden Administration Double Down on Ukraine Lies when I noticed a link to a propaganda hit piece about Jack Teixeira’s “Arsenal of Weapons”.

I decided to click the link, being curious what the corporate media considered an “arsenal” these days. Here’s what it said:

Sounds scary, right? But then I zoomed in to get a closer look, and look what I noticed.

Those are airsoft guns! They have red and orange caps on the ends! These aren’t even real weapons. Either these FBI agents don’t know the difference between airsoft guns and real firearms, or they lied on purpose. The fact that this image was used as evidence of his “arsenal” is utterly insane. Did nobody notice this blatant lie?

This county’s justice system has completely gone off the deep-end. We have corrupt, rogue agencies and kangaroo courts, and they’re not even trying. They could have planted real weapons (like cops who plant drugs), but these psychopaths think they’re so untouchable they don’t even bother to falsify the evidence anymore. They know they can get away with bald-faced lies - and the corporate media, whose supposed “journalists” have degenerated into a cesspool of pro-war, boot-licking cowards print these government lies like they’re the “Pravda” newspaper from the USSR.
