Well put. It used to look like "the fat people" from Wall*E but that's not even a funny comparison anymore. It's almost like people are pre-burying themselves.

The only thing to add to your description is that it's not just a gradual process of "every day in every way I am getting fatter and fatter," but there has been an erosion of reality-based attitudes to life. What is food? What is health? Etc. The things we see as normal today in every basic sphere of life would have made our grandparents' hair stand on end.

So, to answer your question: unprocessed homecooked food, long walks, human contact, vitamins, bone broth, the usual :) Oh and keeping a diary, much like Samuel Pepys but without any great fires so far, thank God.

(Good luck with your recovery).

Not offended just asking for clarification, are you saying European obesity is better or worse than American obesity? Just asking for clarification as that paragraph confused me.

European obesity rates are lower than Americans'. The US has the highest obesity rate of any country in the developed world. There's only a few random small islands (and Kuwait, randomly) that have even higher rates: https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/obesity-rates-by-country

Ohh ok, sorry je suis Francais, and English is my second-language, sorry about that.

I appreciate you clarifying things. It might sound strange but I was shocked when I first visited the US, by the obesity rate. Only Latin-America shocked me more, I found the situation worse out there oddly enough. But Europe definitely amazed and pleased me same with Asia.

Herein Canada, in some large cities obesity is a massive problem (pun intended), but in the small towns not so much.

No worries! Je parle un peu de Francais aussi :P

Yeah Canada is still pretty high but definitely not as bad as the U.S. It really is shocking. I hope Americans can get this trend turned around - it's not entirely their fault, they've been misled for decades about what is and isn't healthy food by both corporations and the government, who have been slowly poisoning them.

I hope they wake up to their reality and start making changes while they still can. I'm seeing more and more teenagers who are obese now which is extra sad to see :(

Superbe, moi-aussi je le vois de temps en temps, d’ailleurs il parait que le gouvernement Americain n’est qu’un menteur meurtrier.
